The Elite narrates the story of an ancient love for the Nebbiolo grapes and the Valtellina valley. It is a wine carefully tended, bright and lively without being cheeky, elegantly strong and simple.

The facets at the bottom of the bottle create an analogy with the reflextions on the glass and the sunlight shining on the vineyards with magic. The resulti is a jewel-bottle embellished by a total black label: as rich black in the four-colour-process is a sum of all colours, whereas in the light spectrum it is the absence of light, in the same way – thanks to the sobriety of the packaging – it reveals and, simultaneously, conceals its essence.

Made from Nebbiolo grapes dried for three months - as it happens in the making of the Sforzato wine - it is an “absolute” wine with its complex richness of sensations, intense with its notes reminding of caramel and chestnuts, dried flowers and cocoa. On the palate, its body, armony and persistancy complete the pattern of a magnificient product, distinctly bound to the land.

A great wine for great occasions, good to be tasted in its youth but unforgettable after a long ageing, when the aromas become more intense and warm and the taste richer and smoother. Wine to match preferably with meat dishes or with a broad selection of cheese.
